Our Installation Process
Substructure Preparation
We inspect the underlying timber deck or insulation board, ensuring the substrate is completely smooth, structural, dry, and correctly ventilated to prevent interstitial condensation.
Breather Membrane & Clips
A high-performance structured underlayment (e.g. textured separation membrane) is rolled out. We then fix sliding and fixed stainless steel clips to the deck, calculated to accommodate thermal movement.
Panel Roll-Forming & Laying
Metal coils are run through our roll-former on-site to produce continuous panels matching the exact rafter length. Panels are laid in sequence, locking onto the pre-fixed clips.
Double-Lock Seaming
Using specialised mechanical tools and hand seamers, the panels are folded into a final double-lock seam. Edge trims, parapet upstands, and ridge details are custom folded and hand-soldered or sealed.
